Memoir During high school, as a student you have your pros and cons about everything and anything regarding life and school. The next day you wake up and realize that it's all over. All the drama, the shows, the bells, the teachers/deans yelling at you to take off that hat or hoodie...it's no more. Life has truly begun to unravel and you begin to wonder, "What will happen next?" Some move on to universities. Others remain in their neighborhoods and progress at their own pace. Whatever happens during high school doesn't always necessarily shape the person you become after. As I now speak for myself, my experiences after I walked across the field to receive my little paper stating, "HEY! You just passed 4 years of quality education, what will you do now?" has been extraordinary and has been a continuous battle of self exploration. I’m not your typical "most likely to succeed" student. However, what I have gained from this school is to take life and its obstacles with great passion and remember "It will pass."

My inevitable thoughts about "not making it" out in the real world haunted me the first year out of the constant routine of HS but now, I take these mysteries of life and embrace them. I’m happy and the very few friendships I gained those years are priceless.

P.S. There are those few recognizable teachers whom without them, life and education would probably be meaningless to me. I thank them for not giving us the “benefit of the doubt” but for truly and honestly believing in our potential. Mrs. D Wilson, Mr. Navarro and Mrs. Koch, Thanks!
